NightShift Productions was founded by Joanne Latimer and Katerina Taxia who met while working on the hilarious show Tony & Tina’s Wedding at The Second City.
Through a shared passion for the creative drive and the joy that comes from like-minded artists playing together, they formed NightShift Theatre. To stir, to provoke, to connect.
(Actra/Equity) Joanne is an actor, writer, director and teacher in the Greater Toronto Area. Selected acting credits include: Aunt Dan and Lemon (Shadowtime Prods.);Tony and Tina’s Wedding (original Toronto cast – Second City); Wounded Soldiers (4th Line Theatre 2014, Ontario tour 2016); Harriet’s House (Gaileyroads) Ana’s Shadow (staged readings for Gaileyroads).

Katerina Taxia – Co-Founder/Co-Producer: Katerina is a Second City actor who was the original, ultimate Italian princess “TINA” in the smash comedy hit “Tony N Tina’s Wedding.” She then served as the Queen of the Nile being cast as “CLEOPATRA” in the Discovery Channel’s “Cleopatra’s Palace and the Real Cleopatra,” which was showcased globally in over 130 countries.
TV credits include roles on hit television shows such as “Darcy’s Wildlife”, “This Is Wonderland”, “Fringe” “Warehouse 13”, “Rogue” and “Odd Squad”. She has given her time for a several touching and important PSA for the Princess Margaret Hospital, Partners Mental Health, Salvation Army, Ovarian Cancer Society and most recently the powerful Sick Kids campaign.
Katerina just finished shooting the short thriller, “Narcissistic” in which she plays “Detective Clayton” that soon will be making its rounds in the Film Festival circuit. Upcoming projects include the short film “Viaticum” with Peter Outerbridge written and directed by Lara Daans and the short drama film “Women of Alpine Road” with Mad Resilience Films, written and directed by Mark Datuin.
